Carpet tiles have always been excellent, versatile performers in heavy-traffic areas but they tend to be a bit firm to walk on. In addition, they have never really matched the traditional comfort levels of broadloom carpet so they’ve tended to be overlooked for many installations. That is, until the development of Dunlop Modulay®.
Dunlop Modulay® is a high-performance cushion that has been specially designed by Dunlop Flooring to provide greatly enhanced comfort and support for both carpet tiles and selected textile floor coverings
Adhesive manufactures have developed adhesives for use with Dunlop Modulay®'s top laminated surface. These ensure that once the cushion and carpet tiles are laid in position, they stay there for the life of the carpet tile. If carpet tiles need to be replaced or rotated due to wear, the special pressure-sensitive adhesive permits easy removal and re-installation of the tile.
